resterm init

Create a new workspace with starter files.

resterm init bootstraps a workspace with starter files such as requests.http, resterm.env.json, and the optional standard template helpers.

shell

resterm init
resterm init ./api-tests
resterm init --template minimal

The generated sample does not need an external service. Start it with resterm mock requests.http. Open another terminal and run a request such as resterm run --request CreateUser requests.http.
